The Most Prized Mushroom in the World!
White truffles are the most prized and most rare of all truffle species. These little gems must be "hunted" by truffle hunters and their specially trained dogs. It is impossible to cultivate white truffles, so they must be discovered in the wild.
Our white truffles are extremely fresh–dug from the root structure of trees in Italy just days ago!
1 oz premium quality fresh white truffles from Italy (typically 2-3 truffles), 2 oz (3-6 truffles), or 4 oz (8-12 truffles.
Use white truffles with a mild base such as pasta, risotto, eggs, or potatoes, along with a source of fat such as butter, cheese, cream and/or animal fat. White truffles also pair well with mild-flavored meats and seafood. Try veal sweetbreads, poultry, rabbit, lobster, scallops, or Chilean sea bass.
