Super Creamy, Perfect Seasoning, Made with Whole Pieces of Foie Gras
Made with whole pieces of creamy and rich New York Hudson Valley Foie Gras, this French-style torchon is absolutely delicious. Just the right seasoning of Sauternes wine, sea salt and white pepper and no added sugar. American-style prepared foie gras is sometimes on the sweeter side. Although this torchon is produced in the US, the seasoning is more in the French style.
The texture of this product is luscious! The whole pieces of foie gras are obvious and the texture might remind you of perfectly seared foie gras. Think "melt in your mouth buttery"!
There is a layer of rendered foie gras fat around the torchon, which can be removed and saved for sautéing potatoes, vegetables or meat, or the torchon can be sliced and served with the layer of fat.
1.3 pound size is large enough to serve 20 people as an appetizer course or up to 50 at a cocktail party. Simply slice and serve on fancy crackers, fresh French baguette, or toasted brioche bread.
